Purple Rain

Hey everyone :) 

As it's been getting colder in the UK, the last thing I want to do is wear a bright lip when it will just higlight how chapped my lips really are. Instead, I have been wearing a new lip combo which is a dark purple and I am definately not a dark lip girl, but I have fallen in love. 

The lipstick is Topshop Inhibition which is a dark plum colour with a satin, matte finish so it isn't tooo drying. This is my first Topshop lipstick, and I am definately impressed. It really matches up to my MAC lipsticks, and the lasting power is amazing. Also, for only £8.00 (£7.20 with student discount) you can't go wrong. I think I might purchase more makeup products from Topshop. 

Anyways, I paired the lipstick up with my NYX Purple Rain lip liner which is a lighter purple colour, and this gives me the perfect colour for my skin tone.I have been obsessed with this winter lip. It does make me look a bit gothy but I'm quite liking that look at the moment.

Valentines Day

Hey guys :) 

As it was valentines day on Friday, the boyfriend and I went for a meal at Coast to Coast which is an American style restaurant. The food was amazing and I loved the dessert. I was boring and got a margertia pizza with fries and he got 3 mini burgers with a side of sweet potato fries. For dessert, we got a warm brownie with honeycomb icecream and a side of cream. It was delicious although I was stuffed so he ate most of it haha.

After some food we went to the cinema to see Endless Love which I couldn't wait to see as I am a sucker for a romantic haha. It was good but not as good as I was expecting.

I wanted to dress really girly and dressy and wanted to wear heels but as we were going to the cinema after the meal, I also wanted to be comfy so I went really casually in my uggs, grey H&M jeggings and a purple chiffon vest from New Look, plus it was pissing it down.

As I was dressed casually, I did my makeup quite dramatiic with a red lip which was Mac Ri Ri Woo which is my favourite red :-) (Sorry I took my photos of myself, I couldn't get good lighting)

Here's some photos that I took, what did you do for valentines day? Or do you loathe it? I think it's a good chance to get up and get dressed up whether you're taken or single.

Edinburgh

Hello :) 

So the boyfriend and I went to Edinburgh for our anniversary and it was a great chance for me to try out my new camera which is the Canon IXUS 135. I didn't want a big bulky camera so this is perfect. Anyways, I had been to Edinburgh before but only shopping, never sight seeing or the zoo (shocking I know) haha. So I thought I'd share some of the pictures I took.

Tanya's Secret - Who Am I?!

Hiyaa :-) Welcome to my blog, Tanya's Secret. 

After a couple of wanting to start a blog, starting one when I was 18 and then never publishing, I have created a new one and I am determined to stick at it this time.
